Ledaal: The royal manor, Ledaal, was built as a summer residence for the Kielland family in 1799-1803. The owner was the merchant and court agent, Gabriel Scanche Kielland, the great-grandfather of the author Alexander Kielland.
Breidablikk: The mansion Breidablikk was built by the architect, Henrik Nissen, in 1881. The owner was the merchant and ship owner Lars Berentsen, one of the leading businessmen in Stavanger at that time.
The Museum Building, Muségt. 16: Stavanger Museum’s main building was built as a museum in 1893. The architect was Hartvig Sverdrup Eckoff.
Nedre Strandgt. 17 & 19 – Home of the Maritime Museum: Nedre Strandgt. 17 and 19 are the only original general retail houses that are perfectly preserved.
The Canning Factory: The oldest part of the building was erected in 1875 and housed one of the largest tanneries in Stavanger.
